Spoiler alert for Twilight movie and book. So if you haven't read them beware...and if you don't plan on reading them, take Nike's advice and Just do it!
I so called the disaster. What disaster am I talking about? The Twilight movie. Yes, I love love love the books, but the movie..well they ruined it. They left out a bunch of stuff and they changed things that didn't need to be changed. All in all it was 50/50. I did really like it, but I was pissed. They ruined the meadow scene. How? THEY WEREN'T IN A FREAKING MEADOW!! He ran her to the top of a mountain! Also the way they depicted Edward made him look like a bumbling idiot. In the biology class scene when they first meet, it was all to comical. It just seemed like they rushed through the story. I did however love Jasper (Jackson Rathbone). So cute! "He's the one that looks like he's always in pain." Haha! And the hospital scene! OmGee! It seemed like Kristen Stewart forgot her lines, it was a mess. I had a really awesome time though! We went to the midnight showing, of course, and met some really cool ppl!
So in conclusion, see the movie first then read the book or you'll be sitting in the theatre fuming and silently cursing the producers for screwing it up.

I so agree with you! It was a mess. the whole movie just wasn't good enough.
I saw the film first, and then read the book, but still. I liked the movie, but the book was just a lot better.
