I went to the midnight showing of The Last Airbender with Whale and Lobster last night, and it was pretty epic.
Well, anytime spent with those two is pretty epic, especially when you accidentally get lost at 2 in the morning..but I'm getting ahead of myself.
We went to Hot Topic to buy some Avatar merch and met up with a friend of ours, Adison, who quite frankly, Rachel, bugs me a lot. Whale got a Fire Nation necklace, Lobster Water, and I got Air.
Anywho, the movie! I loved the movie, but this is coming from a girl who has never seen a single ep of the show, but it definitely turned me into a fledgling Avatard.
I don't know how well they stuck to the plot and if they screwed anything up I totally feel your pain Avatards. Like I've said before, it not that difficult to stay cannon, Big Hollywood Producers!
One thing that bugged me is that the freakin' Fire Nation's ship so didn't go with the time era that they're clothing suggested they were in!
The bending, I thought, was pretty awesome! It makes me want to learn Ba Gua, which is what Air Bending is based on, but we all know that will never happen!

So we get out of the movie at two, and that's when we accidentally went to Wellston!
We took a wrong turn and went onto this really long road that had a concrete barrier so that we couldn't illegally U-turn! So we road it like 30 miles out to this little town and then we paid toll like 3 times!
Eventually we got back on the never ending road of never endingness, and then proceeded to drive around the outskirts of Okc until we found a gas station and asked for directions!
It took us two hours to get home.
It was pretty fun! I love those two!
